In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx
is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together
to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDxSSE, where
x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSSE event, TEDTalks
video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and
connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general
guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including
ours, are self-organized.
TEDxSSE will take place on January 27th 2011 at Stockholm School of
Economics. TEDxSSE is organized by SASSE, the student association at
Stockholm School of Economics.
Focusing on how women and girls
are reshaping the future, the event will be part of the TEDWomen network
of events. The program will be a mix of recorded talks from the
TEDWomen conference held in Washington in December and live talks from
inspiring local speakers.
